IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO COMPLY WITH CURRENT GOVERNMENT COVID GUIDELINES

Inter Livery Charity Clay Shoot
We look forward to seeing you again this year – but – with current regulations we have had to “change” the way we manage guests and be compliant.
The Government rule is 30 people maximum in a GROUP in outdoor spaces– and it’s this section in particular we need to adhere to.
The Shooting element is not affected, although we introduced more driven stands this year to make up for last year’s disappointing season, to make the overall more enjoyable for the Game Shooter.
The main prizes/ cups awarded each year for winners will be done after the second day of the event. Chris will be in touch with winners for instructions of which Charity monies should be sent to, and Cups will, if possible, be handed to those on the second day if appropriate or delivered to Livery Hall’s in due course.
The Highest and Lowest Flush Teams, we will try and identify as quickly as possible once the last team has shot. Magnums / Bottles will then be available for collection on the day.
All other “day” prizes will be rolled over to 2022 and our thanks to the Distillers Company for their continued contribution.
ARRIVAL \ CHECK IN & BREAKFAST
The front gates will not open before 7.30am. Guests will be allowed to park and stay in the car park.
It will be possible to use the bathroom in the building from that time. The access to the building will be controlled and managed according to the number of people inside.
Please do not come down to the Clubhouse until the doors open at 8.15am
Guests will then be invited to give us their Waiver Forms and continue through the Clubhouse and onto the lawns.
NOTE: From that time, no return access to cars will be granted. It is VERY important that you come with the necessary kit (guns, ear defenders...etc) for the day.
H&H staff will point you to your pre-allocated breakfast kitchen. Please go directly there and STAY at that point. Its because this is the time that groups of 30 are created.
CAPTAINS to collect Team Packs from Chris Parr by the main reception, inside the pavilion.
The breakfast Kitchen will be called:
1) The BBQ
2) The Woods
3) The Umbrella
4) Left of the Cloud Bush Tree
5) Right of the Cloud Bush Tree
6) The Canon
7) The Barrel
8) The Stag
9) The Terrace
10) The Bar
Once at your kitchen, you will be served your breakfast, teas and coffees.
Richard Ferrand will make a short speech of welcome and other information on the day at 9am.
The instructors will come to your breakfast point and ready to take you out at the conclusion of the welcome speech. We will be aiming to have everyone on a stand and to start shooting at 9.30am. Your instructor will read you the safety briefing from Chris Bird, at the stand, before allowing to shoot from 9.30am.
PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INSTRUCTOR TO COLLECT YOU / TEAM AND TAKE YOU TO YOUR FIRST STAND. DO NOT WALK OUT UNESCORTED.
Should you need to use the bathroom during the day you can return to the Clubhouse or use the ones provided at the Flurry / Grouse Stands, please do kindly respect social distancing and ask the H&H team to grant you access indoor.
The competition will run as normal or as you may have experienced it before. We would only need you to respect the social distancing under the current Government Guidelines.
Elevenses will be served during the competition, so no one goes hungry or thirsty until lunchtime. We will provide water on the Ground as you go around but please bring extra and snacks if you feel like it’s necessary for your wellbeing.
Your Captain will be been given a bag with your caps, ear plugs, score cards and individual hand sanitizers. Please do use these sanitizers before using each borrowed gun on the stands. The instructors will wipe the gun after each use with a special cleaning product, Oxyl Pro.
THE SHOOTING ENDS FOR YOUR TEAM AND LUNCH
CAPTAINS: Your Shoot Score Card needs to be handed to Chris Parr at the Clubhouse on your way out.
On your last stand, once you have completed the whole course, and after the last member of your team has finished shooting, please indicate to the instructor that this is your last stand. He will hand you some tokens which will allow you to get two beers per person or a soft drink and your boxed lunch at your pre- allocated Lunch Kitchen, near your last stand.
Unfortunately, there is no bar facility this year – but drinks are complimentary.
Please enjoy your time with your teams. There will be no more than 30 people at any time at your Lunch Kitchen.
After you have finished your lunch and wish to leave, please come back to the Clubhouse. You may use the bathroom, but the H&H team will control how many people are inside the building.
We would like to remind you that bathrooms will remain available by the Flurry Point.
Please do not stay on the terrace or speak in the car park in groups of larger than 30 people. It is extremely important that we adhere to the Government rules. You will be kindly asked to leave the premises after lunch.
We hope that you will understand the importance of the guidelines above. We want to ensure that we can offer you a wonderful and safe day on our Grounds.
Moreover, we hope to see you again next year without restrictions and being able to enjoy the event as a Livery Company’s gathering.
