Inter Livery Charity Clay Shoot

Dear Liveryman,

We are very much looking forward to seeing you back at Holland & Holland. Can I remind you of a few rules \ regs and other information on the day.

Arrival at the Grounds

The Gates will open from 7.30am – please park your car where indicated by the parking team.

You will be asked at the front of the building to hand in your completed Waiver Form. Please find it attached to this email. It is a requirement that this is filled in and signed before entering the Clubhouse.

By the steps at the entrance, on the right-hand side, the Team Captains will be invited to see Chris Parr to pick up their instructions and bags with all the necessary equipment for the day.

Loos within the Clubhouse can be used. They will be constantly monitored \ cleaned by our staff who may ask you to wait by the door if demand is high.

We will not be able to look after your gun or store it for you. Please keep it with you at all times or locked in your car.

Breakfast Commences from 8.00am

You will have a choice of bacon or sausage baps include the sauces with tea and coffee, juices and water.

At 9.00am, Richard Ferrand will start his introduction followed by a welcome message from Nicolas Ollivier and a safety briefing by Chris Bird.

We will then have a “whole team” photo and at around 9.30am the shooting ground will open.

The Competition

The number of stands and clays along with the Flush all remain the same – but with a few noticeable changes to benefit the Game Shooter.

Should you not have your own gun, we will have 20b and 12b available on the stands. There will be “on course” loos by The Hut as in previous years – these will be monitored in the same way as the Clubhouse.

Following the success of our elevenses buggy last year, we will once again offer it but with more options. We will visit you around the course to offer some amazing delicacies, including our “now-famous” sausage rolls; and more…. Water of course will be readily available.

Bars Opens from Midday. Please note that only card or electronic payments are accepted.

Lunch Service Opens from 1.00pm

We had a great lunch format last year that worked very well for the times we were going through.

We have though decided that lunch back at the Clubhouse is much preferred and are reverting to an informal seating arrangement (in Gazebo structures outside and some inside as well as using the Terrace) where your lunch will be served to you. This enables everyone to be spaced out comfortably.

Score Cards:

Once you have completed the course please return to the Clubhouse and HAND YOUR TOTALED CARD to Chris Parr.

Live scores will be shown on a TV screen on the Terrace so everyone can see the leaders and tail enders!

Prizes on the Day

2.30pm – We will award Prizes for the Highest and Lowest Individual Shots and the Highest and Lowest Flush Teams.

We look forward to seeing you and hope you will have a safe and enjoyable day.
